"Formerly Spark the Change Colorado, we have continued to adapt and grow to serve as a vital part of Colorado's volunteerism landscape."

Founded in 1979 as a Denver-Metro Volunteer Center, Spark has been the statewide leader in volunteerism for over four decades. From training skilled professionals to mobilizing spontaneous disaster volunteers, we've supported every type of service in communities across Colorado.

In 2025, we proudly joined forces with Project Helping to expand our reach and impact, offering even more opportunities for Coloradans to connect, serve, and make a difference. Together, we work as strategic partners to spark mental wellness and community connection through the power of volunteerism.

Join us and be the spark that starts a movement of good. Volunteer today to help create a brighter, more connected Colorado.
