Here's how to get started

Anyone in Colorado experiencing barriers to accessing mental health care is eligible — including individuals, couples, and families who face challenges such as cost, lack of insurance, or long waitlists.

Be the professional who changes lives

Mental health professionals and graduate-level interns power this program. There are a variety of ways to give your skills — and to grow them — through Spark's Mental Wellness Program.

Private Practice Counseling

Provide counseling to individuals, couples, or families from your practice location or virtually.

Host Site Clinician

Provide on-site mental health services at one of our partner organization locations in the community.

Clinical Supervisor

Provide clinical supervision to graduate interns or candidates for licensure seeking hours.

Support Group Facilitator

Facilitate a group based on community need or your area of expertise, virtually or in person.

Volunteer FAQ
We require at least 4 volunteer hours per month. Volunteering is extremely flexible, and we can work with your availability.
We seek licensed mental health professionals or candidates for licensure in a DORA-recognized mental health profession, as well as graduate program interns in mental health fields.
Benefits include networking opportunities, access to free continuing education sessions, exposure to new and diverse clientele, and hours toward license attainment and renewal.
Yes! We welcome volunteers to help with tabling at community events, volunteer recruitment, marketing and outreach, grant writing, and more.
No, we do not currently have paid opportunities through the Mental Wellness Program.
