Miles Driven for Clients

During the 2024-25 Service Year, our Senior Companion Volunteers made a major impact! Just 31 volunteers served 270 clients and spent over 35,000 hours providing essential support to help their older adult clients maintain independence at home. 97% of clients surveyed said they experienced increased social ties by participating in our program. Volunteer activities include support with home management and necessary errands, nutrition support, social and recreation support, and transportation support, with volunteers driving over 100,000 miles! That’s more than 4 times around the circumference of the Earth!
